Makeup Reviews

Even though I have boxes upon boxes of makeup, I pretty much use the same products every morning.

I’ll switch some items out for new ones every so often but my everyday makeup never really changes.

These are the products in my weekday morning makeup box right now, in order of application;

NYX Pore Filler – This is often compared to Benefit Porefessional, they have the same consistency and colour but the NYX primer is half the price. It definitely isn’t as amazing as Porefessional, which seems to make your pores disappear, but it does a pretty good job of smoothing your skin before applying foundation if you’re looking for a more affordable alternative.

Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer – This includes a brightening concealer, a complexion concealer and a transparent setting powder. They are all fantastic but the one I use daily is the complexion concealer, it’s tinted green and has the creamiest consistency which makes it so easy to apply and it cancels out any red undertones in my skin. It feels like a high end concealer but it’s only €13.50.

L’Oréal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation – I switch up my foundation quite often (usually one of my Bourjois ones) but at the moment I’m obsessed with this one. The first thing to note is it is not completely matte as the name suggests, it has a slight glow. It has a medium coverage and the best part is that it’s extremely long wearing. I wear the shade Sand 20. The one complaint I have is that I much prefer a bottle with a pump for packaging…but I’ll get over it!

I then highlight my under eye area with a light concealer. This changes up a lot, at the moment I have Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer, Maybelline Age Rewind, Collection Longwear or L’Oreal Lumi Magique with my everyday makeup…honestly, I use what ever I happen to pick up.

Benefit Brows A Go Go – I’ve written about this a lot so here is a link to my full review

Chanel Poudre Universelle Compacte
– This is the perfect setting powder if you don’t want to add any extra colour or coverage to your skin. It is completely translucent and so finely milled you would never be able to tell it’s there and it’ll never make your makeup look cakey. I have this in the shade Natural 30. It is quite pricey so if you want a great setting powder for a fraction of the price try Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder.

Eyes – I always use my MAC eye palette on weekdays, I usually put charcoal brown (a matte taupe brown) all over my lid and blend espresso (a darker golden brown) through my crease and underneath along my lash line. I use Bourjois Khol and Contour Eye Pencil in black on my upper lash line, curl my eyelashes and coat them with Maybelline Lash Sensational. This mascara gives insane volume and length, it’s difficult enough to remove but it’s worth it!

I then use my Benefit Hoola bronzer (one thing that never ever changes) to contour and I’ve been using Wet ‘n’ Wild Pearlescent Pink blush everyday for the last month or so. This blush is only €4 and it’s such a great product. It’s a bright pink shade with peach undertones and tiny flecks of gold.

The pigmentation is very strong so you do need to apply it with a very light hand but it’s so pretty and would suit any skin tone. It’s a perfect dupe for Nars Orgasm blush and is a tenth of the price…you can’t go wrong!

I don’t often wear lipstick during the week…I usually just keep applying Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream but I have been using lipgloss lately. The NYX butter glosses are so hydrating and pigmented and there is no stickiness whatsoever. I love the shades Creme Brulee and Merengue.

That’s a very quick overview of my daily makeup routine. I mainly use brushes from The Body Shop and Real Techniques. It takes 10-15 minutes to put on my face every morning and I think I’m half asleep for most of it so it’s probably best that I don’t do anything too adventurous!

I was a bit late to do a June favourites so here are my current favourites. I had a few more things I wanted to add in but they are so new I need to try them out for a little longer before putting them in this list! These are products I’m using everyday and can’t really live without…

1. NYX Butter Gloss

I’ve always hated wearing lipgloss, they’re usually so sticky and I end up with all of my hair in it. These butter glosses have completely changed my mind though, they are buttery (as the name suggests!), creamy and not sticky in the slightest. You can get good coverage from them and they almost look like a lipstick with a clear gloss over them.

You can also apply them lightly for a sheer coverage. They are quite hydrating for a lipgloss and don’t do any damage, even if you apply them multiple times throughout the day. They have a sweet vanilla scent but it’s not too overwhelming. I have two shades a pink lilac called Merengue and a cool toned pink called Strawberry Parfait. They are extremely affordable at about  €6, i’ll be buying more shades soon!

2. Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Polish

Somehow I manage to absolutely hate most things about this nail polish but still be completely obsessed with it. Basically, the shade and finish is worth all the hassle. The shade I’m in love with is Coconut, an off white colour. It takes two to three coats to be completely opaque which is expected with such a light shade.

It leaves an amazing gel-like finish that’s really shiny and can go 4 days chip free…and they are the pros. My main problem with this nail polish is the brush, it’s so small and really annoying to use. Another major issue I have is the formula is a bit gloopy and difficult to spread evenly.

I’m not really sure how it looks so great when it drys but, for me, it’s worth the frustrating application process. I’ve had it on my nails for two weeks now and I usually change the colour every two days!

3.  Wet n Wild Colour Icon Trio

These eye shadow trios are fantastic value for such high quality at under €5. I have two of these palettes and was so surprised at how creamy the shadows are and the intense pigmentation they give with one swatch. Walking On Eggshells is one of the most popular trios with a highlight shade, a bronze shade and a metallic light brown shade.

The other trio I purchased is I’m Getting Sunburned which has a metallic dull pink shade, a metallic dark brown shade and a bright gold shade. The only complaint I have with this is they have imprinted words on the three shadows, brow bone, crease and eyelid which is supposed to help you with your look.

This works fine for the Walking On Eggshells Palette but the I’m Getting Sunburned palette doesn’t really make sense…it really is a minor complaint, just don’t follow the rules! The packaging is a bit cheap looking but the eye shadows themselves rival MAC at a fraction of the price!

4. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

This is kind of on the pricier side at €35 but it is completely worth it. I’ve been reading about this product on beauty blogs for years and have never seen one bad review…..now I know why! I’ve been using it about 5 times a week for a month now and it has evened out my skin tone and makes it look and feel so much healthier and plumper.

It also evens the texture of your skin and I haven’t had any breakouts since using it. My favourite thing about this oil is that there are immediate results, I’m extremely impatient so this is what initially kept me interested.

It’s so simple to use too, I just take 3 drops into my palms and pat it over my face after I wash it at night. This stuff is an absolute miracle worker and is appropriate for all skin types. Highly recommended!

5. Neutrogena Visibly Clear Daily Facial Scrub

This is not the most exciting product in this list but I have been loving it so I feel like it deserves it’s place! This is what I’ve been using in conjunction with the Midnight Recovery Concentrate. It’s such a gently scrub so it can be used twice a day without irritating your skin. It claims to prevent acne so I’m not sure if it’s this or the the night oil since I started using them around the same time but either way I haven’t had any breakouts.

It leaves your skin feeling extra clean but doesn’t dry it out which my skin is prone to. An extra bonus is the grapefruit scent, it’s so refreshing and kind of wakes you up in the morning! It’s usually about €4 for 150ml, very affordable! I definitely want to try out the rest of this range.

xoxo
Summer is finally here and as the weather changes and the sun comes out our skin and makeup needs change too. Here are some products that can help you during the hot summer months…

MAYBELLINE – DREAM FRESH BB CREAM

A BB cream (or CC cream or tinted moisturiser) can be a great alternative to a full foundation during the summer. I particularly like Maybelline Dream Fresh as it has an SPF of 30 and you don’t have to layer an extra product to protect your skin.

This BB cream doesn’t contain any oils which means it’s a lot less likely to melt off your face as most foundations will! It’s extremely light but still evens your skin tone and blurs out any imperfections just like a primer would.

L’OREAL INFALLIBLE 24HR MATTE FOUNDATION

If you want something with a heavier coverage that will stay put in the sun this matte foundation is a good option. It has a completely matte formula so if you want that dewy or glowy look this one won’t be for you.

I would recommend using a good primer (Smashbox and Benefit are my favourites) under the foundation to ensure it really lasts. It does claim to be a 24hr product but I would say it has more of an 10hr lasting power…which is still pretty good!

RIMMEL STAY MATTE POWDER

This powder is an absolute lifesaver and is only about €4. It’s completely translucent and very finely milled so it won’t appear cakey on your skin. It will keep you shine free and help minimise large pores too. It’s a very simple but useful product to carry with you.

BOURJOIS VOLUMIZER WATERPROOF MASCARA

A waterproof mascara is essential for sunny days. Even if you’re not going into the sea or pool a waterproof mascara will be smudge proof and you won’t be left with panda eyes at the end of the day. You can use the waterproof version of any mascara you like but I’ve been obsessed with the Bourjois Volumizer Mascara for almost a year now.

It has two brushes in one tube. The first is a smaller brush to define the lashes and give you a good base and the second brush is designed too give your lashes volume. I don’t wear eyeliner or heavy eyeshadows when it’s really hot out so I tend to go for quite dramatic mascara and this is perfect. If you want something more subtle you can leave Step 2 out and you’ll be left with very natural defined eyelashes.

CREAM EYESHADOWS

I love using cream shadows when the weather is really hot. Good cream eyeshadows have long lasting formulas that don’t crease or fade and are waterproof and smudge-proof. I have 2 recommendations when it comes to high quality cream eyeshadows; Maybelline Colour Tattoo in  On and On Bronze or Pink Gold and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha.

The best way to apply these is to pack the colour all over your eyelid and then grab a fluffy brush to blend it up and out. You can use them as a base for a more complicated, dramatic look too but this method so simple and it will look like you actually made an effort!

LIPS

Elizabeth Arden 8hr Cream is my all time favourite lip protector. It will stop the sun from drying your lips out and leave you with a good base to apply any lipsticks or lip stains you like.

Some of my favourite summer lip shades are MAC – Up the Amp, Essence Longlasting Lipstick – Coral Calling and NYX Butter Gloss – Merengue.

The rest of my makeup doesn’t change too much for the summer. I tend to use powders for my brows, contour, blush and highlight. Try to use a lightweight moisturiser and let it sink into your skin before you apply your makeup or it’ll be more likely to slide off your face during the day! Lastly, don’t forget to use an SPF all over…we all know how important that is…and have fun in the sun!!!

If I had to choose one high street brand to use for the rest of my life Bourjois would be it! Bourjois is a French cosmetic company which first launched in 1863! Most high street brands only do one product very well but Bourjois have fantastic products across the board. Here are some of my favourite Bourjois products…

Bourjois Khol and Contour
This is one of my most purchased beauty products of all time. I have been buying Bourjois khol pencils for over ten years! It has the most intense colour payoff I have ever seen from a khol liner. At the same time it is very soft and easy to blend and work with. It is also very gentle on your skin and you can use it on your waterline without any irritation.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

I have mentioned this product so much over the last few years so I won’t say much. It is just the perfect reasonably priced, medium coverage foundation. I use the shade 53 which blends into the skin leaving a flawless finish. It is not completely matte so your skin looks more radiant than fully matte foundations.

I’ve also started to use the Healthy Mix Gel Foundation by Bourjois. This is much more sheer and glowy. It’s perfect when you’re having a good skin day but it can highlight blemishes so be careful!

Bourjois Cream Blush
I’m obsessed with these cream-to-powder blushes. I have all 4 shades but my favourite by far is 01. It’s a subtle apricot colour that just warms up your complexion. It sets as a powder and gives a very natural finish.

Bourjois Volumiser Ultra Black Mascara

Like their khol pencil this mascara has a very intense black colour payoff.  Step 1 is a smaller brush that gives your eyelashes definition and step 2 adds drama and volume. I’ve tried lots of Bourjois mascaras and have always been impressed by them, they’re never clumpy and always add lots of volume.

Bourjois Bronzing Primer

This was probably one of the most talked about beauty products in 2017 as it is a fantastic dupe for the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Primer.  It does pretty much the same job as the Chanel one but isn’t as long lasting. It’s very luxurious and velvety and gives a bronzed glow to your complexion. It has more of a mousse-like texture than Chanel Bronzing Powder but it is definitely worth it at only a fraction of the price.

Bourjois Délice de Poudre Bronzer

I think most people are drawn to this bronzer because of the packaging and the fact that it’s shaped like a bar of chocolate but it really is a fantastic bronzer. Its iridescent formula contains flecks of golds which gives a radiant but non shiny glow. It comes in two shades, one for fair skin and one for medium. It’s a good product to have in your starter kit.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet

Rouge Edition Velvet by Bourjois are like no other lip products I have tried. They have an amazing formula that’s almost like a liquid lipstick. As the names suggests they are velvety and soft on the lips. They dry matte with very bold pigmentation and don’t smudge. My favourite shade is 08 Grand Cru, a deep burgundy shade.

I have tried so many Bourjois products over the years and I can honestly say none have ever disappointed me. I could probably add another ten onto the list but these have been the stand outs! It’s just a pity Bourjois is so hard to come by in Germany…I have to stock up in Boots when I’m home!

1. MAC Lipsticks

Before 2017 I would go without lipstick 99% of the time. I always thought I wear so much makeup that lipstick is just going overboard. However, this year I’ve become completely obsessed with 3 MAC lipsticks and have a list of new shades I want! The lipsticks I’ve been alternating between are;
Pink Plaid – Mauve Pink Matte
Darkside – Deep Burgundy Amplified Creme
Up The Amp – Lavender Violet Amplfied Creme

2. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

This is the perfect primer. I first bought it in June and I’ve already repurchased it. It completely smooths your skin, it minimises pores and all imperfections disappear. It’s the perfect base for foundation and it looks good on it’s own. It is a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it. If you have a good base the rest of your makeup will look flawless.

3. P2 Volume Gloss Nail Polish

Last year I became completely obsessed with these nail polishes and now have pretty much every shade in the collection. They are a bargain at less than €2 for a gel look finish.

4. Rimmel Stay Matte

In the past the only powder I’ve really loved is Chanel Translucent Powder. I hadn’t intended on using this powder but Berlin was quite hot during the summer and I needed a cheap powder quickly so I picked it up not thinking much of it. However, I now apply it daily, it’s so light and invisible and leaves your skin flawless and matte. I wouldn’t bother with the Chanel powder again, I’ve hit pan on this already and will definitely repurchase it.

5. Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

I’ve been a fan of the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation for a couple of years now but only used the serum for the first time in 2017. It gives much more of a sheer coverage than the foundation but this can be built up quite easily if needs be. It is a gel foundation (which I have never used before) so it has quite a silicone feel in comparison to a regular liquid foundation.

It is subtly iridescent and leaves you with a dewy glow. This is my new go to foundation. However, I will say if you are having a particularly bad skin day it could highlight any imperfections and you will either need to apply lots of concealer or opt for the liquid foundation.

6. Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil

For someone who wears a lot of makeup I’ve always just used face wipes to remove it…and let’s face it that doesn’t do the job! I bought this cleanser on a whim in Prague and now I feel like I can’t live without it. I still take the majority of my makeup off with a face wipe but now I will always cleanse too.

The oil breaks down any makeup I’ve missed out on (which is usually a lot!) and cleanses my skin. You massage it into dry skin and add water to turn the oil to a lotion. It leaves my face feeling extremely clean. It is very gentle and I would recommend it for anyone with sensitive skin. It is important to rinse the product off well or you will be left with oily residue.

7. Urban Decay – Buck

This eyeshadow deserves a special mention when looking back on 2017. I think I used this shadow almost everyday…in conjunction with others obviously but Buck always made an appearance. It’s the only eyeshadow I’ve hit pan on my Naked palette so far. It is a perfect warm brown matte shade with amazing colour payoff.

8. Glossy Box

I got a 6 month subscription to Glossy Box from my sister and brothers for my birthday in September. So far I’ve received four boxes and the standard and variation of brands and products has been outstanding. Beauty boxes are the perfect idea for someone who wants to try every makeup and beauty product under the sun.

9. Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 hour

I’ve never really been drawn to cream eyeshadows before but these are fantastic. They have such a creamy consistency yet they do not crease. They are super long lasting…I’m not sure if they last 24 hours but they will definitely stick to your lids all day. The pigmentation is extremely saturated and doesn’t fade throughout the day.

They are perfect to use as a base for an elaborate eye look or you can just blend some out for a quick add of colour when you’re in a rush. My absolute favourite shades are on and on bronze and pink gold.

10. Vanilla

This is a bit random but in 2017 I really got into the scent of vanilla. It started with vanilla scented candles and I branched out from there. I’m now obsessed with Dove Deep Care Body Lotion in Vanilla and when I was in Prague I picked up vanilla scented hand cream and a vanilla body scrub by Sephora.

I’m sure there are a million other things I could mention in this post but these are the ones that came to mind first. Bring on 2019 and lots of new things to try!

Here are two of my favourite makeup routines at the moment. I’ve tried to use as many different products as possible for each makeup look for variety! The first one is more high end and the second is more affordable.

It’s fairly clear what my favourite brands are from the list of products here but as long as you can find the right shades with decent pigmentation it is so simple to recreate any look. This especially applies to eyeshadow colours. If anyone has any questions on dupes or the products listed feel free to ask.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Prague for the weekend which consisted of a lot of pretty buildings, food, gluhwein and MAKEUP! I was delighted to discover they had Sephora and a full Topshop (unlike the department store corner there is in Berlin). Here is a quick overview of all the things I got…

Topshop – Do It Again – Blush

This is a great everyday blusher. It is highly pigmented and a beautiful coral pink shade. It has a hint of shimmer that brightens your skin without it looking shiny or glittery. The shade is comparable to NARS Orgasm and is just a fraction of the price.

Topshop – Fast Lane Lipstick

All of the Topshop lipsticks are extremely pigmented and long lasting and Fast Lane is no exception. This raspberry fuchsia shade is a good dupe for MAC Girl About Town. It leaves a soft sheen finish and is quite moisturising. The cool undertones make your teeth look extra white!

Sephora – Supreme Cleansing Oil

I use this after taking the majority of my makeup off with a face wipe.

Sephora – Instant Moisturiser

I have been on a search for a new everyday moisturiser since I finished my Elizabeth Arden moisturiser. I bought this without thinking much of it but it turns out it’s the perfect everyday product for me. It has a light formula but is still extremely moisturising. My skin has become quite dry since winter started. A lot of the moisturisers I have tried out recently have been thick and oily but this is the opposite with a fantastic moisturising effect. It claims to have light reflecting pigments to illuminate your skin…I’m not so sure about this but I will definitely be repurchasing it!

Sephora Collection – Smoothing Body Scrub and Hand Cream

There is not too much to say about this product except that I love it! It gently exfoliates your skin leaving it super soft Sephora – Smoothing Body Scruband it has a fantastic vanilla scent. They have 6 scents to choose from and I’m looking  forward to trying out some more. I also purchased the vanilla hand cream from the same range which is so handy in this cold winter weather!

Sephora Lip Stain

Always red 01 and Forever Fuchsia 06
I had read a lot about these before I saw them in Sephora so I was expecting great things. So far they’ve lived up to the hype. They start off as a cream and becomes a lightweight stain on your lips. The colour pay off is incredible and lasts all day. I don’t think I’ve ever had a lip product that is so easy to wear. Always Red is a classic red shade that dries matte and Forever Fuchsia has a light shimmer finish.

Sephora – Jumbo Liner 12 Hour Wear

I purchased two of these kohl pencils, one in Black 07 and one in Beige 05. They have amazing pigmentation and I would compare the black one to Bourjois Kohl Liner which is my all time favourite. The beige shade is more of a light gold which I love and use as more of an eyeshadow than a liner. It looks great on the inner corner of your eyes. They are waterproof and certainly have 12 hour wear…probably longer! I’m very impressed with these products.

I’m a little bit late writing this post but I wanted to share what I got in my second Glossybox. I’m begining to think these are the best invention ever. The products are excellent and when they get delivered to the office it makes my day!

1.  Nails Inc. London – Matte Nail Polish

I was ecstatic to see a matte top coat in the Glossybox. I have had one of these previously from Kiko Cosmetics but it mysteriously disappeared from my nail polish collection a couple of months ago. This top coat works perfectly and will make any colour nail polish you cover completely matte.

2. Model Co. – More Brows

The only brow gel I have really used before are clear ones and occasionally the brow gel from Benefit Brows A Go Go. This shade is a little too dark for my brows but the product is really good. My favourite things about it is the applicator, it is a tiny spoolie which helps with precision…a necessity when filling in your brows!

3. The Body Shop – Vanilla Body Butter

You can’t really go wrong with any of the body butters from The Body Shop they make your skin feel so soft and have such intense scents. My personal favourite is the pomegranate body butter but his vanilla one is fantastic! They work best if you apply them to slightly damp skin to lock in the moisture.

4. Original Source – Vanilla and Raspberry Shower Gel

I didn’t really expect to get a shower gel in my Glossybox but I do love this one. It smells so delicious! It is vegan and apparently 82 British sunrises helped to make one bottle…….so I suppose that’ a good thing…………..

5. Love Me Green – Exercising Face Scrub

This contains orange and argan oil to boost circulation and skin radiance. This is a good everyday face wash, however, I would not call it a scrub. It doesn’t seem to really get rid of all dead skin cells but it is nice as a face cleanser.

6. Luvos – Vital Face Mask

There are two sachets of these face masks in the Glossybox too. These are lemon based face masks and I am obsessed with them. They leave your skin so fresh and clean. The lemon balances the pH in your skin and gives it an even tone getting rid of redness which is something I need. I will definitely be looking to buy more of these.

Does anyone have any Glossybox alternatives that I should subscribe to? I want to try them all now!
A quick post on my first impressions of Glossybox. My brothers and sister got me a 6 month subscription to Glossybox for my birthday and to say I was excited is an understatement!

I get sucked in by great packaging and Glossybox do it very well. The package itself was pink with white polka dots (kind of embarrassing to collect from the front desk at work but whatever) and the Glossybox for October is pop art inspired which meant I was completely obsessed before I even saw the products!

There were 5 products in the October box and these are my first impressions:

1. Benefit – It’s Potent Eye Cream

When I saw this in the box I was soooo happy. I have only recently started using an eye cream and I was planning on buying the Benefit one (how did they know?!) and it is exactly what I needed.

2. Figs & Rouge – Hand Cream

Again I got sucked in by the packaging with this product. It is so pretty! It is also extremely hydrating and has a lovely scent. It’s perfect for throwing into your handbag.

3. So Susan – Flutter Mascara

This mascara kind of confused me. As a bottom lash mascara it is perfect. It separates and gives definition to your lashes. However, when used on your top lashes it is awful. It almost makes my lashes look smaller than they are…if that is even possible! I’ll stick to using it on the bottom lashes!

4. Aldo Vandini – Secrets Retuschierende Dekolleté Creme

So this product is clearly a result of my glossyboxes coming from Germany! It is a luminising cream with light reflecting particles for an even skin tone. It is designed to be used on your neck and chest to moisturise and plump your skin. I haven’t used this much so far but it seems to be quite good. I will definitely keep using it and give a better review!

5. Lavera – Glossy Lips

I wasn’t too excited to see this lipgloss, however, it has become one of my favourites in the last couple of days. It is a very subtle pink colour that is so pretty. It is also quite moisturising for a lipgloss and best of all it’s not sticky! I usually avoid lipgloss as most of my hair ends up sticking to my lips! Love this product!
It is safe to say I am extremely impressed with my first Glossybox and am looking forward to next month!! <3 I was tagged to do this post ages ago and never got around to doing it. I’ve been spending the morning watching youtube videos/reading blog posts of different makeup tags…they are very addictive! So here are my 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty answers. 1. GREED – What is are your cheapest and most expensive products?

The cheapest product that I use regularly would have to be my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – €2.95. I do have cheaper products (lots of things from ELF) but nothing I use that often. The most expensive product I use regularly is my Dior Amber Diamond highlighter which is €52. I also have palettes that are more expensive but I wouldn’t count them as single beauty products.

2. WRATH – What product do you have a love/hate relationship with?

MAC pigments. They are so amazing but so difficult to use. I have a set of 6 but never use them because they take too long to apply and I always end up with half of it on my clothes and cheeks. If I have lots of time they’re the best products ever but they are not very convenient!

3. GLUTTONY – What is your most delicious product?

A bit of a strange question! I recently bought Creamy Candy Bubble Bar from Lush that definitely smells like something you would eat. I also really love the Blistex Rasberry Lemonade Blast Lip Balm…mmmmm!

4. SLOTH – What product do you skip due to laziness?

This one is easy – liquid liner. I never wear it. I just don’t have the patience…or the steady hand. I much prefer using a kohl pencil and smudging it for a less put together look.

5. PRIDE – What product gives you the most confidence?

Makeup in general?!…It’s hard to pick just one but I think I’d have to say Benefit Brows-A-Go-Go. Once my eyebrows are fixed everything else seems much better, haha. You can read my crazy eyebrow rant here!

6. LUST – A product you want?

Right now I really want the Chanel – Soleil Tan Bronzing Base. I’ve debated getting it for awhile now and after reading lots of reviews this morning I feel like I need it!

7. ENVY – What is the best type of beauty gift?

Benefit gift sets make great presents. I love getting the travel sizes in the sets so you can try them out before getting the full sized ones. I also get drawn in by the pretty packaging. Love Benefit!
